excellent opportunity for an ambitious DENTAL ASSISTANT to grow our
state-of-the-art dental center.
DESCRIPTION:
Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking a DENTAL ASSISTANT.
This state-of-the-art dental office provides quality dental care to
children and young adults.
Assist the dentist in the clinical treatment of patients and the
effectiveness of the activities in the dental center. Work chairside as
dentist examines and treats patients. Hand instruments and materials to
dentist. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Instruct
patient/parent on post-operative and general oral health care.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience in a dental office as a dental assistant with
increasing responsibility
• Compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e. -- X-ray
requirements, OSHA training)
• Dental Assisting experience strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively manage more than one activity at a time
• X-ray certification a strong plus
• Strong communications skills
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred
