The Billing Specialist will be responsible for performing detailed work as
well as completing other office tasks. Routine tasks involve; interpreting
customer contracts, ensuring proper customer set up in multiple systems,
reviewing customer invoices for accuracy and completeness, investigation
and resolution of issues. This position will be responsible for managing
and tracking customer requests, analyzing and suggesting invoice program
changes. The ideal candidate should have experience with developing and
implementing process/work-flow improvements within a multi-functional
system environment. The Billing Specialist works closely with the Office
Manager and will need to assist with treatment coordinator questions, etc.
This position is the central point for customer change requests; therefore,
prioritization and management of multiple requests are vital to this
position. The candidate should posses a positive attitude, creative
thinking and thrive in a collaborative environment.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors degree in Business or equivalent work experience required
• Highly organized and able to multi-task on many different levels
• Dentrix Experience a PLUS
• Exposure to varied/multiple ERP systems a plus
• Involved with detailed daily tasks
• Strong problem solving skills a MUST
• Customers service attitude, interacting with external and internal
customers with high emphasis on customer service
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc skills
• Must be able to work with limited management, self motivated, highly
reliable, and must be a team player
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a PLUS
